Our maintenance courses are always run by a qualified Cytech level 2 Mechanic. This is the standard that most bike shops require their mechanics to be. MTB Coach provides a high standard of service and that is why proper professional training is important. Dave from MTB Coach is a fully trained Cytech mechanic providing the best service possible to all cyclists.
What is a Cytech Mechanic?
Cytech is the bicycle industry’s only recognised training and accreditation scheme for bike mechanics and technicians. Carried out at 'atg training' Cycle Academies, Cytech courses encompass the basics of cycle mechanics right through to working with the most advanced and high-tech components and parts. Cytech bicycle mechanics are required to pass a number of practical and theory tests before qualification.
For customers, Cytech means
Confidence that your new bike has been properly set up to manufacturer’s guidelines and British Standards, by a competent mechanic
Peace of mind that your existing bike is in safe hands
Ongoing technical support to ensure your bike runs smoothly to give you the best cycling experience
